I’m a physiotherapist, hypermobile human, proud dog mum, and someone who deeply understands what it’s like to live in a body that doesn’t always play by the rules.

I’ve spent my career working with hypermobile and complex pain patients, helping people who often feel unseen in traditional healthcare settings finally make sense of their bodies. My approach is rooted in a whole-body perspective, paying special attention to areas like the feet, pelvis, and rib cage, which are frequently overlooked in people with hypermobility.

Rosco, A black dog with large pointed ears lying on a bed of brown and green seaweed, holding a piece of wood with one paw. The dog is wearing a red collar with a black bone-shaped tag.

My work is neurodivergent-friendly and shaped by my own late ADHD diagnosis at 40. I understand firsthand the extra layers of navigating movement, pain, and daily life with a brain (and body) that works a little differently.

Through my clinical practice and @krj.coaching, I blend evidence-informed care with real-world practicality — offering hypermobile folks compassionate tools, education, and a sense of being understood, often for the first time. My goal is simple but powerful: to elevate the standard of care for hypermobile women by combining whole-body assessment with lived experience — so you can finally get answers that make sense..

I work primarily with hypermobile women — though all hypermobile humans are welcome, just as you are. I believe every body carries its own story, and it deserves to be heard. Together, we create realistic, compassionate plans that fit your life — not a cookie-cutter version of it.

My goal is always to provide real tools, real understanding, and help you feel at home in your body again.

Work with Kim in person*, one-on-one, in a supportive space designed for real humans with real bodies, where your story, needs and pace come first.

*Kim’s waitlist is full right now and will reopen in the spring. A new way to learn & work with Kim is also coming in 2026!

First time?

Your first appointment is a 90-minute initial consult, longer than a standard session because hypermobile and neurodivergent bodies often need a little more time, space, and care.

During this session, we’ll work together to:

  • Confirm your hypermobility + talk through what that means for you

  • Explore how hypermobility impacts your body + daily life

  • Do a full-body assessment—head to toe—to understand how you move as a whole

  • Look back at movement patterns from childhood, because patterns often start early

  • Connect what’s happening in your life with how it’s showing up in your body

Follow-up sessions are 55 minutes, giving us enough time to work deeply and meaningfully, without feeling rushed.

See what clients have to say about working with Kim and the changes they’ve noticed along the way.

“Kim is a genius bodyworker. She not only is an expert in her field, she has incredible intuitive touch. She has lovely bedside manner and trauma-informed approach. Highly recommend.

“Not only does Kim treat what hurts, she teaches me what’s happening and why so I can better manage it myself. I truly have never felt more supported and optimistic about my recovery.”

“Kim considers not just a specific injury, but the entire system surrounding it, crafting a tailored and studied treatment plan that creates enduring relief and structural change.”

- DF

“I always feel like I’m a part of the process rather than just being treated. As someone with hypermobility, it means a lot to be supported by a practitioner who not only understands it clinically, but also lives with it herself.”

- MA

“Kim is the best! She’s super knowledgeable and her approach is very thorough and detailed, can’t recommend enough! Her expertise working with patients with hypermobility is invaluable and very hard to find.”

- EC

“I wish I could live in the feeling leaving physio with Kim! I’m left feeling energized, confident, embodied and deeply joyful. She’s a magical witch physio—who has made me feel welcomed and supported. As a queer non binary larger bodied person, that’s not always the case. Thank you Kim!”

“If you are fortunate to work with Kim, it will change your life. She is so much more than a physiotherapist. She is that and 5-star excels, but she serves with her whole heart and whole brilliant mind and offers hope where once it seemed hope did not exist. 1000% recommended!”

- TT

“Every now and again you come across a practitioner that can only be described as ‘life-changing’. Kim is one of those people.”

- LB

“Kim is such an incredibly attuned and skilled practitioner that I am finally able to understand, address, and heal from the physical pain and limitations I’ve experienced for more than a decade. She is a gift.”

FAQ

  • I see clients in person at Rae Physiotherapy & Pilates in Vancouver, BC.

Because I’m also a hypermobile human, I manage my clinic time carefully so I can give each person the focus and energy they deserve. I currently take 1–2 new patients per month, which helps me keep sessions thorough and sustainable. If you’re hoping to book in, it’s best to plan ahead — spaces tend to fill quickly.

  • At this time, my physiotherapy services are only available to clients located in British Columbia, as my professional license limits me to working within that region.

If you live outside BC, there are still ways to learn from my work — you can follow @krj.coaching on Instagram or join the Hypermobile Hypermind Facebook Community for education, resources, and updates on future offerings.

  • Your first session is a 90-minute, one-on-one appointment.
We’ll start with an in-depth discussion of your history and current concerns, followed by a full-body assessment to understand how everything connects.

From there, I’ll create a practical, manageable plan that helps you build stability, reduce overwhelm, and feel more at home in your body.

  • I love hearing from the Hypermobile Hypermind community, but I can’t give individual medical advice, assess symptoms, or answer case-specific questions by email.

If you’d like personalized care, please book an appointment through the clinic.

  • Follow @krj.coaching on Instagram for education, insight, and gentle guidance about hypermobility and sensitive systems.

There are some free resources you can download in the Resources section.

You can also join the Hypermobile Hypermind Facebook Community — a supportive space to connect, share experiences, and find trustworthy resources.

  • Yes! Here are a few downloadable resources and tools to help you learn more about hypermobility.

  • Both are in the works and launching soon!

The newsletter will include body-friendly education, small mindset shifts, and updates from my clinic world and beyond.

The Hypermobile Hypermind™ blog will share reflections, information, and strategies for those living in bendy, sensitive bodies.

  • Both- much of my clinical experience involves working with people whose bodies are more flexible or sensitive than average with, or without systemic symptoms.
I, myself have hEDS so am highly aware of teh common challenges this population faces. My approach uses a full-body assessment and movement-based treatment to support awareness, strength, and function in daily life.
